Konzept
and Projekte
Seit
der Galerieöffnung im April 2008 in Köln zeigt k.u.k. zeichnerische und
bildhauerische Positionen u.a. aus dem Südosten und der Mitte Europas. Einen weiteren Schwerpunkt
bildet die Nutzung neuer Medien, die eine zunehmend prägende Funktion im
soziokulturellen Diskurs einnehmen.
k.u.k. verfügt über Erfahrung im Ausstellungsbetrieb und über ein starkes Netz an Kontakten zu Künstlern,
Kuratoren und Kunsthistorikern. Das Ziel, geopolitische und künstlerische
Grenzen zu überschreiten, wird durch Ausstellungen im 6-8 Wochenrhythmus,
Messebeteiligungen (Viennafair, Preview
Berlin etc.) und Projekte mit internationalen Positionen eindringlich bestätigt.
Concept and projects
Since
it's opening in April 2008 k.u.k., Cologne shows graphic and sculptural
positions e.g. from across South-East and Central Europe. Further emphasis is put on the use of new
media, which take an increasingly coining/shaping function in the soziocultural
discourse.
k.u.k. has a well established experience in
exhibition making and a strong networking towards artists, curators and art
historians. The goal of exceeding
geopolitical and artistic borders is thus granted by an exhibition-rythm
of 6-8 weeks, fair participations (Viennafair, Preview Berlin etc.) and projects
focusing on international positions.
